Home care in Birmingham and SolihullHome is where the care is.
We support adults to stay safe, comfortable and independent in the home they love. Gentle, reliable care, planned around your routine and the people who matter to you.
We're now taking enquiries. Our application to register with the Care Quality Commission has been submitted, and care visits will begin once registration is confirmed.
Home is your own chair, your own kettle and your neighbours down the road. Our job is to help you keep it that way, for as long as you want to.

Questions families ask us
The things people most want to know before letting someone new into a loved one's home. Anything else, just ask.
Ask us something else →Who will come to my home?
Every Regis care worker goes through safe recruitment checks before they start, including:
- an enhanced DBS check, including the adults’ barred list
- at least two references, including the person’s most recent care employer
- right to work and ID checks
- a full employment history, with any gaps explained
Every new carer then completes an induction in line with the Care Certificate, including hands-on training in moving and handling, medication, infection control, safeguarding, dementia awareness and basic life support. They shadow experienced colleagues and aren’t allowed to work alone until our Registered Manager has observed them and signed them off as competent. Training is refreshed every year.
Will it be the same carers each time?
That’s our aim. We put together a small, consistent team for each person, and you’ll have a named link worker who knows you well. If we ever need to send someone new, for example because of holiday or sickness, we’ll tell you in advance and make sure they’ve been fully briefed on your care.
Will visits be rushed?
No. We don’t do 15-minute calls. Our shortest visit is 30 minutes, and most personal care visits are 45 minutes or an hour. Visit times are agreed with you after your assessment, and carers stay for the full time.
If a carer is running late, our office will call you to let you know. If you ever think a visit has been missed, call us straight away.
How much does it cost?
Our prices are simple and there are no hidden charges.
- 30-minute visit
- £22
- 45-minute visit
- £28
- 1-hour visit
- £32
Two-carer visits are charged at the hourly rate for each carer. Bank holidays are charged at time and a half.
Call us for a free assessment and a written quote before anything starts.
Do you support specialist needs?
Yes. We support:
- people living with dementia
- people with mental health needs
- people with a physical disability
- people with long-term conditions such as Parkinson’s
- people recovering at home after a stroke or a hospital stay
- palliative and end-of-life care, working with GPs and district nurses
We also offer waking night care, two-carer visits and respite care.
Can you respect our culture, faith and language?
Absolutely. You can ask for a carer of the same sex for personal care, and we’ll arrange this wherever possible. We respect faith and prayer times, dietary needs (such as halal, vegetarian or no beef), and important festivals.
Our team speaks a range of community languages, including Punjabi, Urdu, Hindi, Bengali and Gujarati. If you need a different language, just ask. Tell us what matters to you at your assessment and we’ll record it in your care plan.
Can our family keep up to date if we live away?
Yes. We use Birdie, a secure digital care system. With the person’s consent, family members can use the Birdie family app to see visit notes and updates from their phone, wherever they are.
Which areas do you cover, and how quickly can you start?
We cover Birmingham and Solihull. Once your free assessment is done and the paperwork is complete, we can usually start your care within one week.
Mrs Manpreet Kaur Sagoo
Registered Manager and Nominated Individual
I’ve worked in health and social care since 2010, in home care, residential care and primary care. I started out as a Healthcare Assistant and worked my way up to Senior Healthcare Assistant, Care Coordinator at two home care agencies, and then Quality Lead. Along the way I gained a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management and a degree in Psychology and Criminology.
Because I’ve done the job myself, I know how much the little things matter: a carer who turns up on time, who knows how you like your tea, and who treats your home with respect. I lead Regis with one simple aim: to help people live safely, independently and with dignity in their own homes.
As Registered Manager, I’m responsible for the care you receive. If anything ever worries you, please ask to speak to me directly.
